Artist and educator, he graduated with a degree in Visual Arts from the Escuela Superior de Artes de Yucatán. Since 2012, he has collaborated in the development and implementation of social impact projects such as “More Art, Less Violence” (2013-2015, CEPREDEY), “DNA” (2017-2019, ADCOSUR), and Missions for Cultural Diversity of the Federal Secretariat of Culture.
He is the founder and coordinator of “iin ki kalante,” an independent cultural venue. His artistic production focuses on exploring the discursive possibilities of territories through their historical, social, and economic conditions. An example of such practice is the project “Mutable Architecture,” which was part of the Presunto Collective and won the Public Art Award at the International Festival of Mayan Culture in 2014.
He has participated in group exhibitions held in various museums and cultural centers, such as “Tiempos de Milpa” (2019) at the Gran Museo del Mundo Maya.
